wednesday’s lunchbox idea

– Veggie wrap
– Grapes
– Broccoli Salad
– Homemade Granola Bars

Tip #3 Use whole-grain breads, wraps or pita pockets. The whole-grain will provide energy, vitamins, iron and help keep your child satisfied longer.

This lunch has a veggie wrap (made with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, avocado, shredded carrots, and a light cream cheese spread), homemade granola bars, grapes, and broccoli salad. The top of this lunch box has a built in ice pack that keeps everything cold.

Blogger, Amy Roskelley provided this healthy lunchbox idea. Amy’s Super Healthy Kids blog provides parents with the tools and ideas to feed their children healthier food. Her kids always take lunch to school, so it’s important to her to pack it full of nutrients so they can be productive throughout the school day.
