Ritz Cracker Cookies

    Preheat oven to 350. Line a cookie sheet with foil and lightly spray or butter to help prevent sticking. Then line the foil with the Ritz Crackers.

    Add the brown sugar and margarine to a small pot and bring to a boil. Once this mixture starts to boil – continue to heat for 2 minutes. Spoon this sugar mixture evenly over the crackers and bake for 7 minutes.

    Remove cookie sheet from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the entire cookie sheet. Use a spoon to help spread the chocolate as it starts to melts. Sprinkle the chopped pecans pieces over the warm chocolate.
    Let cookies cool completely before cutting into squares.



  • 1 box of Ritz Crackers
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of margarine
  • 12 oz. package of chocolate chips
  • 1 bag of crushed nuts (pecans)
